Field Sales Specialist EAST COAST

This position is designed to establish new business relationships with DOD related agencies, as well as state and federal law enforcement agencies by leveraging new opportunities in conjunction with your existing relationships. Primary targeted territories will be the EAST & SOUTHEAST THIRD of the United States, with focus on locations near areas with a large DOD presence.

  • Develop directives to implement a sales and representation strategy for identifying marks within DOD agencies and industries.
  • Utilize your existing portfolio of relationships, partners and areas of expertise that will enable you to penetrate these industries and agencies.
  • Understand and analyze customer needs, to determine the best solutions needed from DRAXXON.
  • Schedule live demonstrations bringing together technical users, and leadership real world scenario solutions.
  • Participate in both small and large-scale kinetic and fixed demonstrations for new and existing system product launches.
  • Attend relevant events and conferences to network and establish new opportunities.
  • Leverage virtual networking technology such as LinkedIn and other social media toestablish new opportunities.
  • Work closely with DRAXXON design teams to better understand the customers’ needs and relay that information to the R&D team.
  • Work with sales team to accurately report sales pipeline progress, including closure dates, risks, industry opportunities, and areas to develop the product and solutions, to executive leadership.
  • Assist in designing marketing plans materials and sales presentations to prospect customers to generate interest and opportunities.Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience within an agency or branch of Military, DOD agency, or Federal Law Enforcement. SOF experience a plus.
  • Proactive communication and customer facing skills with thorough follow through in all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Aptitude to quickly learn, document, and converse about highly technical solutions and new technology.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience with RFP, RFI, and other government solicitation documents.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

    Salary range: $75,000.00 – $120,000
    Sign on bonus available
    Salary considerations will adjust for relevant experience. Benefits:
